Furman Video Recap

6 Jan

After five days on the road and two days back home in Charleston, the Cougars restarted Southern Conference play with back-to-back road games at Furman on Jan. 6 and Wofford on Jan. 8.

Due to the historic look and beauty of the CofC campus, many Hollywood movies and television shows have been filmed at The College, including The Patriot, Cold Mountain, The Notebook, Dear John and most recently I caught an episode of Lifetime’s Army Wives being filmed at Randolph Hall prior to leaving for our trip to Greenville, S.C.

The Cougars shot 55.8 percent against the Paladins and Andrew Goudelock scored a game-high 31 points in a narrow 76-72 victory. It was a nice change of pace for the team after a disappointing 20-point loss at Morehead State to open the New Year.

After the Furman game, Coach Cremins sat down with host Nate Ross, who was an assistant coach for him at Appalachian State, to tape the first episode of the Bobby Cremins Television Show which airs locally in Charleston on My TVCharleston Channel 36 each Saturday at noon (ET). You can also view the 30-minute show every week at www.CofCSports.com and by CLICKING HERE for Episode #1.
