Coastal Carolina Video Recap

17 Nov

Carolina First Arena was rockin’ as CofC opened the season at home against Coastal Carolina. Close to 4,000 Maroon and White-clad fans saw a great second-half, come-from-behind performance by the Cougars.

Once again, senior Andrew Goudelock showed his range as he knocked down four of the team’s season-high 12 three-pointers in the ballgame. It was sweet revenge for CofC after dropping a season-opening loss to the defending Big South Conference champions in 2009-10. Sophomore Willis Hall was also en fuego for the second-straight game leading the Cougars to their current 2-1 start to the season.

Clyde the Cougar helped the team get pumped up backstage with a pregame “rave” of sorts prior to stepping foot on the court for shootaround. The student crowd was tremendous complete with a bowtie-painted trio, styrofoam bricks and blown-up Coach Cremins’ faces on turnwheels. You gotta love college hoops!
