Two-Game CofC Road Swing Continues at Holy Cross

12 Nov

A tough, two-game road swing continues as the College of Charleston men’s basketball team (0-1, 0-0) travels North for the second time in three days to Holy Cross (0-0, 0-0) for a Saturday, Nov. 13 non-conference matchup in Worcester, Mass. The Cougars and Crusaders are slated to tipoff at 7 p.m. (ET). It will mark a first-ever meeting between the two schools and only the second time for CofC to play a game in the state of Massachusetts next to a 52-40 loss at UMass on Dec. 2, 1998. The Cougars are looking to rebound from a one-point setback at defending ACC regular-season champion Maryland in their season opener, 75-74, in the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer on Nov. 10, while Holy Cross last defeated Assumption College in exhibition play, 77-70, on Nov. 8. Preseason Southern Conference Player of the Year Andrew Goudelock (pronounced GOWD-lock) led the way for CofC with a game-high 27 points and 10 rebounds against the Terrapins.
